A Friendship That Became Something More

We’re Susan and Julie, two friends who share a love of beautiful clothes, good conversation, and making each other smile. Some of our happiest moments are the simple ones: catching up over coffee, sharing a new outfit, and saying, “Oh, that is so you.” As we’ve grown older, our friendship has given us the confidence to embrace who we are and enjoy our own sense of style. It also inspired us to create Susan & Julie. We wanted a place where women could discover clothes that feel comfortable, look lovely, and fit naturally into their everyday lives. A place where choosing something for yourself feels like a little pleasure. We know how much a favorite blouse or a soft cardigan can brighten your morning. Helping another woman find that feeling is what makes this store so special to us.

Two Personalities, One Shared Love

If you asked us to choose our favorite outfit, you would probably get two very different answers. Susan loves soft layers, timeless shapes, and those dependable pieces you reach for again and again. Julie is drawn to beautiful colors, charming prints, and the little details that give an outfit personality. Susan will picture all the ways you could wear a piece, while Julie will point out the detail that makes it worth a second look. We listen to each other, try new ideas, and have plenty of laughs along the way. Our different tastes help us see possibilities we might have missed on our own. What brings us together is the same wish: to help you feel comfortable, confident, and happy in what you wear. Every selection carries a little of both of us, and we hope you’ll find a little of yourself in it, too.

We created Susan & Julie with women like us in mind, women whose lives, tastes, and confidence keep growing. We think about the everyday moments you’re dressing for: lunch with a friend, a family visit, a weekend away, or a quiet afternoon doing something you love. We look for pieces you can imagine wearing, enjoying, and making your own.
